Matt Bell Photos…

These photos were taken a month ago by a friend of a client and I wanted to post them here to help promote his work.  He is a rad dude and make sure you get up with him when you or your shop wants a great photographer to shoot the shop for  promotional ads or just for personal shots.  I really like the work he did for me and he came and did it for my customer but I also reaped the benefits and am appreciative.  Here is his link-  www.mattbellphoto.com

I also want to thank A.J. Klein (client in the photos) for being a great client and for being a great friend.

New Back, Older Leg

My good friend Carla’s back.  She is one of the best customers Ive ever had.  Sits like no other and is always in a great mood.  Im having a lot of fun with this tattoo and its always a pleasure to tattoo people who really appreciate what they are getting.  Thanks Carla!

This one below is on another radical chick friend Jess… Another tough,  appreciative,  always getting tattooed kinda client!  Did this one in September at the NC Tattoo Convention.  Thanks Jess…

Backwards talk is a sign of EVIL!

China marker on grey paper.  Did this a month or two ago.  Thought I would post it.  This is a new large tattoo that has been in progress over the past month.  Daniel Kelly is the wearer of this one and I will use this opportunity to say that he is one of the best customers I have ever had the pleasure of tattooing and getting to know.  He and his family are terrific people and I am always thankful to get to tattoo people like him.  Very rare do I get customers that start big tattoos and get tattooed every week and never cancel.  I am starting his sisters back piece tomorrow night.  Ill post some photos as it comes along.  Hope ya dig the new pics….

A few new ones…

A few new recent tattoos.  The hands were done Monday and Tuesday of this week and the rose girl was done last month.  The yellow rose hand tattoo is on Dee Self a fellow tattooer at Legacy.  We covered some drunken “stick and pokes” in the handle of the dagger.  We did this late night style on Monday and I had a blast!  Late night sessions are one of the things I love about tattooing when it’s friends hanging out and laughing,  listening to old punk rock and metal and tack’n a fun tattoo!

The tiger head was on a tattooer from NC who tattoos in Ohio now and it was a good time as well.  Talking to younger tattooers always reminds me of  what it takes to move forward in this business. Just getting to be able to tattoo customers and make a living doing so from being an apprentice is such a huge jump that takes a lot of hard work and determination.  Thinking about this makes me very thankful that I was at least given a chance to be apart of this community  and be able to have a job that makes me happy.

Move Complete, New Tattoos

Hello all!  My move to Greensboro is complete!  Amy and I are stoked to be here and are both very busy doing what we do best…staying too busy.  That being said I plan to stay on top of keeping all of my media up to date and new photos posted at least once a week.  To all the people who visit this blog and see nothing new for weeks on end I apologize and hope to redeem myself by posting too many photos in the following weeks.

The photos I have posted below are from the past few months and there are so many more that need to be taken off of my camera and onto my new computer.  The shop has been ultra busy and fun.  The crew at Legacy Irons Tattoo have been amazing to me and I hope to keep the tribe happy.  I am taking appointments for the beginning of the year as of now and will also be making a “call list” of sorts to be able to call appointments if they can come in sooner do to a cancellation.  If interested in getting work from me please call the shop @ 336-373-1311 or my text my cell @ 828-485-8050 for appointments and questions.  Thanks to all who have made this move a success.  Hope you enjoy the new tattoos and thanks for checking in!  -Munday
